Privacy Policy
Effective September 14, 2026
This policy explains how Posture Prompt processes information when you use the mobile app
or this website. You do not need to provide a name or email address to use the app.
Information We Process
-
App identifier: The app creates a random identifier and stores it on
your device. It sends this identifier with app requests so your data can be associated
with your installation without requiring an account.
-
Reminder and check-in information: Your reminder titles and notes,
reminder types, selected days and times, sitting windows, whether reminders are active,
notification schedules, check-in responses, and related timestamps. This information is
used to schedule reminders, adjust their timing, and show your check-in history.
-
Device and notification information: Your push notification token,
device platform, app version, and time zone name and offset. These details are used to
deliver notifications at the intended local time and troubleshoot delivery.
-
App activity and analytics: Posture Prompt uses PostHog to record events
such as screens or features used, onboarding status, reminder and check-in actions,
subscription status, API activity, and notification delivery outcomes. These events can
include the app identifier, platform, time zone, and event timestamps.
-
Purchase information: RevenueCat processes subscription and entitlement
information associated with an automatically assigned customer identifier. Apple
processes App Store payments. Posture Prompt does not receive your full payment card
details.
-
Support messages: If you email support, we receive your email address
and the information you choose to include in your message.
-
Website and network information: Cloudflare hosts this website and the
app's backend. The support and privacy pages also request the Inter font from Google
Fonts. These providers may process request information such as your IP address, browser
or device information, requested URL or font, and request time for security, delivery,
and operational logging.
Location Information
Posture Prompt does not request or collect GPS coordinates or precise device location. It
uses your device's time zone name and UTC offset to schedule reminders. An IP address can
sometimes indicate a broad approximate area, but it is network information and is not GPS
location.
How We Use Information
- Provide, schedule, and adapt reminders based on your settings and check-ins
- Display your check-in history and app progress
- Deliver notifications and diagnose failures
- Manage subscriptions and access to paid features
- Understand app performance and feature use, and improve Posture Prompt
- Protect, operate, and troubleshoot the app, website, and backend
- Respond when you contact support
Service Providers
We share information with service providers only as needed for the functions described in
this policy. Their handling of information is also governed by their own policies:
-
Cloudflare for hosting,
backend services, and data storage
-
Google Fonts for serving the Inter
font on the support and privacy pages
- PostHog for product analytics
-
RevenueCat for subscription and
entitlement management
- Expo for push notification delivery
-
Apple for App Store purchases and
notification delivery on Apple devices
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to
valid legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or complete a
business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.
Retention and Your Choices
We retain information for as long as needed to provide and operate Posture Prompt, comply
with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. Service providers may
retain information under their own policies. You can turn off notifications in your
device settings. Uninstalling the app stops new app activity, but does not by itself delete
information already stored by the backend or service providers.
To request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your app
identifier, contact
[email protected]. We may need
additional details or diagnostic information to help locate the relevant records.
App Store subscriptions can be managed through your Apple account.
Children
Posture Prompt is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect
personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided
information, contact us so we can address it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the
information we process. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely
secure.
Changes
We may update this policy as Posture Prompt or its data practices change. We will post the
revised policy here and update the effective date.
